The Film Company – Eye Films Limited
Eye Films has been making high quality, engaging and entertaining films since 2007.
Our short film debut Celebrate? (2007) was a regional finalist at the Orange SIxty Seconds of Fame BAFTA Awards and The Secret (2008) won the Four Star Premiere Award at the BIAFF in 2009.
As well as corporate and commercial work, Eye Film’s short films and music videos have played around the world and our debut feature film Five Pillars was released world-wide in 2016. It is currently available on Amazon.
The Author – Nick Amies
Nick is a journalist and writer with over 20 years of experience working on international news and popular culture publications such as the New York Times, The Economist and Red Bull’s lifestyle magazine, the Red Bulletin, among others.
His love of music and fascination with youth movements and popular culture led to his first novel, the Madchester-era road trip story Mersey Paradise (2010), and its follow-up, the Britpop love story She’s Electric (2012).
His enduring love of Oasis led to his first non-fiction book Where Did It All Go Wrong? Oasis and the Millennium Meltdown 1995-2000 (2015).
Nick lives in Brussels with his partner and young daughter.
The Screenwriter & Director – Jon Rosling
Writer and director Jon Rosling is a British writer and film-maker with ten years experience in creative and corporate video with his production company Eye Films Limited. His debut feature film Five Pillars was release in 2016 and followed on from national and international awards with short films The Secret (2008), Land of Dreams (2010) and Georgia’s Angel (2009)
In addition to a passion for story-telling and film, he has an avid interest in history and is currently working on his first book, The Sleep of Reason.
Jon is married with two children and lives in Yorkshire.
